Up a small staircase - the top room of the pele tower, converted in the 18th century in the Strawberry Hill Gothic style. This elegant and spacious room is dominated by a large west facing 3-part Gothic window overlooking lawns and mature trees (wonderful sunsets!). Long window seat and comfortable sofas grouped around a stone fireplace make this an ideal haven in which to listen to music on the sound system. Family portraits and elegant furniture make this very much the “withdrawing room”.
